Full-Time Nanny and Newborn Snuggler Needed
Location: Wilmington (Landfall area)
Pay: $20 to $27 per hour DOE
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8am-4:00pm & Fri 8am-3:00pm
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Family Overview:
Meet a family that is equal parts loving and absolutely smitten. First-time parents to a brand-new baby girl, this duo are looking for the nanny who will make their village feel complete. Dad heads out to the office each day while mom works from home — which means the nanny will be a true partner in the rhythm of the household, seen and appreciated, but also trusted to take the lead with baby while mom is heads-down in work. They are not looking for someone to just fill a role. They want someone who genuinely feels at home here.
There is also a gentle 11-year-old lab in the picture. He has seen better knees, but his heart is still very much in it.
What Your Day Will Include:
With the baby:
Be a warm, loving, and attentive presence—keeping baby safe, happy, and thriving
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support development (tummy time today, world domination tomorrow)
Follow and help gently evolve baby’s feeding, nap, and wake schedule (safe sleep always a must)
Handle all things feeding—bottles, prep, cleaning, and eventually simple meals/snacks
Keep baby clean, comfy, and cared for (diapers, outfit changes, baths as needed)
Maintain a tidy, organized space for baby (nursery, play areas, gear)
Stay on top of baby essentials—laundry, restocking supplies, flagging when items run low
Administer medications or creams as directed by parents
Share updates or logs as requested so parents stay in the loop
Get fresh air! Walks and outings will be encouraged as baby grows and as agreed upon with family (vehicle will be provided for use)
Partner with parents—following their preferences and keeping communication easy and open

Pitch in with general tidying of common areas (especially kitchen + play spaces)
