Once we receive your application, our team will review it and contact you for the next steps. Qualified candidates will have a phone interview, Zoom or face-to-face interview, reference checks, social media screen, and background checks.
Please note that while we do try to reply to all applications and inquiries, due to the high volume received, we are not always able to do so. If you are an experienced caregiver who has applied but did not get a response, PLEASE check back in with us. Unfortunately, there are some weeks when there just are aren’t enough hours in the day.

For Nanny placements, employment will be directly with the family and they will be responsible for paying you directly. We are here to guide both sides through the process and best practices to ensure smooth transactions.
For on-call bookings, you will typically be paid directly by the family, but may be paid from SCN for certain types of bookings, like events. You will be giving payment information prior to the booking.

While the compensation and benefits may vary depending on the position requirements and family, our team works with families to advise on fair and competitive pay rates that satisfies all parties.
Average Rates Per Position:
Full-Time Nanny: $20-$27/hr
FT Nanny/Family Assistant: $22-$32/hr
Part-Time Nanny: $18-$25/hr
On-Call Babysitting: Rates will vary depending on if you’re working an event, church nursery, or private family booking. However, our minimum sitter rate is $18 per hour.
*Note, SCN has flat rate placement fees for families rather than charging a percentage of the nanny's annual salary. This ensures the nannies' compensation is not penalized due to agency costs.

Our families complete a registration process but are not screened the same way our candidates are. Your safety and comfort is a top priority and we promise to only send you to homes you feel comfortable in. If you have an issue once you get to a booking, please contact SCN right away.
