Location: Porter’s Neck
Pay: $18-$24 per hour
Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thursday; 9am to 5pm
Start Date: Monday, September 7th
A growing family in the Porter's Neck area is looking for a warm, steady presence to help care for their new baby girl starting this September. Mom works from home in a busy remote role and Dad keeps long shifts as a local dentist — so they need a nanny who's calm under pressure, genuinely loves newborns, and can bring quiet confidence to every nap, bottle, and giggle session in between.
The Role
This is a part-time position for a family expecting their first baby, with plenty of runway to build routines together from the very beginning. They're hoping to find someone who might stick around for baby number two down the road — so if you're looking for a long-term match, not just a gig, this could be it.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 9am–5pm
24 guaranteed hours per week
Start date: Monday, September 7th
Optional to do half days the last week of August if nanny wants additional hours

Full newborn care — feeding, diapering, naps, and all the little rhythms that come with a new baby
Creating a warm, engaging environment as baby grows into her personality
Light tidying of baby's space and handling her laundry
Keeping the family looped in with notes on supplies, routines, and daily happenings
Who They're Looking For
Comes with solid infant/newborn experience
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified) & can pass a background check
Up to date on Tdap & MMR vaccinations and willing to show proof or get booster
Calm, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
Able to keep pace with an active little one — stairs, carrying, the works
A great communicator who works well in a home where a parent is present
Compensation & Perks
$20–$23/hour
3 Paid sick days and 3 paid vacation days annually
Paid holidays when they land on the nanny’s regularly scheduled work day.
If you're the kind of nanny who lights up at the thought of newborn snuggles and wants a family to grow alongside, this one's worth a look.
