Family Overview:
Southern Coast Nannies is placing a Nanny team duo for a warm, close-knit family in Sneads Ferry — a single mom in the medical field and her two spirited, creative daughters, ages 5 and 7. After years with au pairs, this mom is ready for experienced, professional caregivers who bring structure, warmth, and initiative to her household. She's not looking for someone to manage — she's looking for partners she can trust. We are filling two part-time roles that work in tandem: a Morning Nanny and an Afternoon Nanny.

A Note on the Schedule Before You Read Further
Mom works a rotating Monday–Friday schedule in the medical field. We know "rotating schedule" can be a deal-breaker — so here's the part that matters: she receives her schedule at least 2 months in advance and is fully committed to sharing it with her nannies well ahead of time. Shifts almost always fall Monday through Friday and if weekends are a deal breaker for you, the family can bring in backup support for those rare occasions.
Also important: This family is located in Sneads Ferry. Please factor commute time into your decision before applying, particularly for the morning position with its early start time.
MORNING NANNY BREAKDOWN:
Desired start date: ASAP
3 Mornings per week from 5:30am to 8:30am
9 Guaranteed hours per week
Additional overnight per week available and detailed further down.
Compensation & Perks
Pay: $26-$28 per hour
15 hours of paid sick and personal time off annually (equivalent to 5 days), available in a bank after first 90 days of employment
Paid Holidays: The Nanny may occasionally be needed on holidays (with a lot of advance notice). When working a major holiday is required, they will be paid time and a half pay. When working is not required, the nanny will have the holiday off paid, provided the holiday falls on a day they would typically be scheduled to work based on that week’s rotation.
Morning Shift Focus:
Get the girls up, fed, dressed, and out the door for the school bus. Focused, contained, and finished before most people are on their second cup of coffee.
AFTERNOON NANNY BREAKDOWN:
Desired start date: ASAP
3 Afternoons per week from 2:30pm to 6:30pm
12 Guaranteed hours per week

Pay: $23-$25 per hour
20 hours of paid sick and personal time off annually (equivalent to 5 days), available in a bank after first 90 days of employment

Afternoon Shift Focus:
School pickup, homework support, dinner prep and serving, evening wind-down, and keeping kids' spaces tidy. This is where the heart of the household day happens, and the right person will thrive in it.
The family's biggest household priority outside of childcare is cooking and meal prep. If you love planning and preparing nutritious meals, this role is your stage.
WEEKLY OVERNIGHT SHIFT BREAKDOWN:
Mom works one 24 hour shift each week that also rotates and requires one of the Nannies to stay overnight. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided.
Each overnight is paid at a flat rate and comes with an additional 2 hour morning shift (Nanny can sleep in until 6:30am when girls wake up).
$150 flat rate for each overnight shift which is 6:30pm to 6:30am
The overnight morning shift will be from 6:30am to 8:30am and paid at the same hourly rate as all other morning shifts.
Overnights can be split evenly between both nannies based on schedules/availability, covered primarily by one and the other provide very occasional backup support,or divided based on which day of the week it falls and who has availability that week.
Once we have Nannies chosen, we will work out the exact structure based on their preferences and exact schedules determined at least 2 months in advance.
The family will have other overnight care support available for rare backup occasions both Nannies are not available.

Candidates who want to cover mornings, afternoons, and overnights are absolutely encouraged to apply. The combined position works out to approximately $24-$26/hour as a blended rate across all hourly-paid shifts, plus the $150 weekly overnight flat rate — totaling roughly $37,024-$39,416 annually. Requirements:
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified before start date
Pass a background check
2–3 professional references
Experience with multiple children
Physically active and able — stairs, carrying 30+ lbs, keeping up with energetic kids
Reliable, communicative, and comfortable with sick days
Able to provide overnight care (at least occasionally)
