Location: Ogden area of Wilmington

Pay: $22-$27 per hour DOE

Start: Monday, August 10th

Schedule: 2pm-7pm on Mon, Tues, Wed, every other Friday, & every other Saturday (alternating with the Friday) 10am - 3pm.

An active, warm family in the Ogden area of Wilmington is seeking an outgoing, nurturing Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to become a trusted part of their household. This role is ideal for a nanny who enjoys supporting both toddlers and school-aged children and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly.

You’ll be caring for three wonderful children—two boys and one girl, ages 10, 6, and 2 years—in a home where teamwork, communication, and mutual respect are truly valued.

If you love variety in your workday, enjoy helping families stay organized, and are confident balancing childcare with light household management, this family would love to meet you.

 Duties Include:

Engaging in age-appropriate play and learning activities

Driving to and from activities & school as needed (with mileage reimbursement)

Comply with Family’s discipline and child-rearing preferences

Maintenance, cleaning & care of children’s belongings 

Assist as needed with bath time and bedtime for smaller children

Family meal prep, planning and preparing children’s snacks and meals

Helping with homework, school projects, and support learning

Provide reasonable flexibility in times of emergency or unexpected schedule changes

Performing light housekeeping such as tidying up after the day, loading/unloading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and children’s laundry

Take initiative to keep household orderly, organized, and running smoothly 

Run family errands and serve as point of contact for home project vendors

Establish and maintain a family calendar that details regularly planned vendor calls, doctor’s appointments, reservations, work-related travel, children’s camps/activities, family events, and other important dates

Occasional organization of different areas in the home as requested

Schedule:

Start Date: Monday, August 10th

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, & every other Friday 2pm - 7pm

Every other Saturday (alternating with the Fri.) 10am-3pm

Can be flexible if occasionally unavailable for the Saturday shift

*Potential to grow to more hours eventually as agreed upon by family and Nanny

 Requirements

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified

Willing to undergo and pass a background check

Provide 2 to 3 professional references

Experience with multiple children

Able to walk up and down stairs carrying 30+ pounds, active and energetic

Safe, reliable vehicle and clean driving record with willingness to drive children (mileage reimbursement)

Proactive and able to take initiative with children and household needs

Reliable and willing to care for sick children

Open and communicative with parent

Flexible and calm under pressure

*Essential that the nanny/family assistant is able to work independently when providing household support and be able to anticipate family needs

Preferences:

Willing to commit long term to provide consistency for the family

Willing to provide overnight care on occasion

Willing to travel with family to provide occasional vacation support - will be under a separate travel agreement

Pay: $22–$27/hour, DOE

5 Paid Days Off Annually
