Full-Time Chief Baby Officer Needed
Location: Jacksonville, NC
Estimated Start Date: September 30, 2025 (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Mon - Thurs, 7am to 5pm
Pay: $22-$27 per hour
Are you a warm, energetic nanny who loves engaging little ones in play and adventure? A kind and hardworking family in Jacksonville is looking for a full-time nanny to join their household and care for their joyful and curious 9-month-old baby girl.
This entrepreneurial family is seeking someone who not only adores children but also enjoys spending time outdoors, is comfortable around pets (they have both cats and dogs!), and is excited to become an important part of their family’s daily rhythm.
Duties Include:
Plan and engage in fun, age-appropriate play and learning activities to support healthy development
Assist with bottle prep, feedings, and baby’s daily routines
Keep the nursery, play areas, and baby items tidy, sanitized, and well-organized
Communicate openly with parents and follow their preferred parenting approaches
Help with light household tasks such as family laundry, tidying up at the end of the day, and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Occasionally assist with simple family meal prep
Provide loving, attentive care that makes the baby feel safe and happy every day

Estimated Start Date: September 30, 2025 (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Mon - Thurs, 7am to 5pm
First right of refusal for extra hours (occasional date nights)
Flexibility is appreciated, as hours may shift slightly with the family’s schedule
Requirements
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Previous professional childcare experience
Reliable transportation
Safety-conscious, proactive, and calm under pressure
Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Provide 3 professional references
Must be comfortable with dogs & cats
Preferred But Not Required
Bilingual in Spanish
Willing to travel with the family on occasional vacations (up to 1 week at a time)
Comfortable swimming with children
Compensation & Perks
Competitive Pay: $43K to $54K annually, DOE
Overtime pay for federal holidays worked
