Full-Time Nanny & Family Sidekick Needed
Location: Jacksonville, NC
Estimated Start Date: Mid Sept (flexible)
Hours:40guaranteed hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am to 4pm
Pay: $22-$24/hour
An active family of four in the Jacksonville area searching for a warm, dependable, and energetic Full-Time Nanny to care for their two wonderful children—a bright and curious 3-year-old son and a sweet 6 month old daughter.
If you enjoy working with small children, and you’re comfortable juggling a variety of daily routines, this family will warmly welcome your expertise!
Duties Include:
Provide care, warmth, and security in the absence of parents
Plan and actively participate in age-appropriate development activities for the children- plan activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
Plan and prepare meals for a children, and nutritious meals/snacks
Keep the children’s room and play area tidy and organized
Provide reasonable flexibility in times of emergency or unexpected schedule changes
Provide transportation for the children and facilitate playgroups and outings when agreed upon with the family
Performing light housekeeping such as tidying up after the day, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and children’s laundry

Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am to 4pm
Occasionally may shift hours to weekend depending on work schedule, but would be agreed upon in advance
First right of refusal for optional weekend date-night care
Requirements
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Previous infant experience and caring for multiple children
Reliable transportation and willingness to drive children (mileage reimbursed)
Able to walk up and down stairs carrying 30+ pounds, active and energetic
Safety-conscious, proactive, and calm under pressure
Willing to undergo a background check and provide 3 professional references
Must be comfortable with 1 dog
Preferences
Willing to commit long term to provide consistency for the family
Compensation & Perks
Pay: $45k-$49k guaranteed pay ($22-$24/hour)
Overtime pay for federal holidays worked
