Full-Time Toddler Nanny & Magic Maker
Location: Landfall Neighborhood in Wilmington, NC
Start Date: Mid December to Early January (flexible for the right candidate)
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 9am to 5pm
Pay: $25-$34/hour
If you're someone who thinks a great day with a toddler looks like morning walks, backyard water play, a stack of picture books, and a solid nap — then we want to talk to you!
This warm, intentional family in the Landfall neighborhood in Wilmington has a genuinely delightful little girl, who will be almost three years old when this role begins. Their daily routine is already the stuff nanny dreams are made of — fresh breakfast, outdoor time, reading and play, lunch, a two-hour nap, then back outside to water the plants or walk to the playground. They've clearly thought carefully about how their daughter spends her days, and they're looking for someone who will step into that rhythm with just as much care and intention.
Meet the Family
This family values structure, creativity, and outdoor time, and describes their ideal nanny as calm but firm, patient, and genuinely comfortable saying no when the moment calls for it. They've had a nanny before and know what good looks like.
They also have a very old and very gentle German Shepherd who will probably sleep through a lot of your shifts.
The Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
One weekend per month, some additional hours may be requested but not required.
What the Days Look Like
The nanny will follow the family's established routine — morning activity or outdoor time, reading, lunch and snack prep, nap supervision, and afternoon play. Keeping spaces tidy, managing toddler laundry, and handling light household tasks (dishwasher, tidying common areas, watering plants, bringing in packages) round out the day.
Down the road, occasional school pickup may be needed. The family can provide a vehicle or offer mileage reimbursement.
