Part-Time Nanny & Sibling Referee Needed in Hampstead, NC

Hours: 15–20 hours per week (15 Guaranteed Hours; Monday–Friday)
Availability: between 7:30 am-4:30 pm schedule will vary but will be worked out ahead of time each week
Pay: $22–$26/hour, DOE
A loving family of four in the Hampstead area of Wilmington is searching for a warm, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Nanny to care for their two wonderful children—a bright and curious 8-year-old son and a sweet almost-3-year-old daughter.
If you enjoy working with both toddlers and school-aged kids, and you’re comfortable juggling a variety of daily routines, this family will warmly welcome your expertise!
Duties Include:
Engaging in age-appropriate play and learning activities
Driving to and from activities & school as needed (with mileage reimbursement)
Assisting with meals, snacks, and light meal prep
Helping with homework and supporting learning
Performing light housekeeping such as tidying up after the day, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and children’s laundry
Schedule
Estimated Start Date: January 15, 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week (15 Guaranteed Hours; Monday–Friday), with possibility of additional hours added later as agreed upon by Nanny and Family
Exact hours will vary weekly based on the parents’ work schedules

Occasional evenings may be needed (with advance notice) usually to no later than 7:30pm
First right of refusal for optional weekend date-night care

Requirements
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Previous experience caring for multiple children
Reliable transportation and willingness to drive children (mileage reimbursed)
Safety-conscious, proactive, and calm under pressure
Willing to undergo a background check and provide 2–3 professional references
Must be comfortable with dogs (1 Beagle)
Compensation & Perks
Pay: $22–$26/hour, DOE
15 Guaranteed hours per week
Overtime pay for federal holidays worked
